Half-Term Programmes
In addition to term time, the after school club also operates a full day activity programme during in-service days and mid term holiday periods.
One programme operates from one of the after school club locations and EAC offer a free transport collection service from the other clubs. The half term programmes are open to all children attending the after school clubs.
During the half term programmes, EAC offer a daily excursion to a local tourist attraction on our two 17 seat minibuses. Each minibus is fitted with over the shoulder seatbelts and has a first aid kit on board at all times.
Recent excursions have included: Megabowl, Leith Waterworld, Scottish Football Museum, Almond Valley Heritage Park, Scottish Seabird Centre, Museum of Scotland, Camera Obscura, Murrayfield Stadium and EAt Links Family Park, Dunbar.
The number of children attending during these periods tends to be lower than during term time therefore, staff are able to offer a more extensive range of activities in addition to the daily excursion.
Parents can make a reservation for a full day, half day or weekly ticket.
