Course Info:
Are you a teacher of English whose first language is not English? Are you looking to improve your classroom skills in English and get to grips with the latest ideas in methodology? Are you looking to meet other teachers and share ideas and experiences?
Course Aims and Objectives:
EAC courses for teachers aim to provide you with an opportunity to develop your confidence in spoken English and consolidate your knowledge of the language and its’ systems.
Emphasis will be placed on current classroom practices and methodology. You will be encouraged to evaluate your individual progress and offer feedback on all sessions. The main objective of the course is “learning through doing” with reference to language teaching methodology and learning techniques demonstrated during the course.
Course Participants:
You should ideally have at least one year’s classroom experience in teaching English as a foreign language, and in order to fully benefit from this course your level of English should be of a high intermediate level.
