Accommodation
EAC can offer students the following accommodation arrangements throughout their study programme:
Homestay Accommodation
Carefully selected and inspected local hosts offering all students a warm and friendly welcome:
• Choice of shared or single rooms (supplement payable for single rooms and subject to availability)
• 16 meals per week provided (half-board Monday to Friday, and full board at weekends)
• Average journey time to school is 20-25 minutes
• Students of the same native tongue are not accommodated together unless specifically requested otherwise
Residential Accommodation
For students preferring more independent accommodation, EAC also offers residential accommodation in the following locations:
- Edinburgh Portsburgh Court/James Craig Court
Option 1 - City Centre. Self Catering ensuite single rooms in shared apartments of 3-5 rooms with shared kitchen.
Option 2 – City centre. Self catering self-contained studio apartment.
- Hastings Astral Lodge
Economical hotel-style accommodation at a seafront location close to the school. B&B Ensuite single or shared rooms available. Half-board option also available.
Hotel/Guesthouse and Bed and Breakfast Accommodation
For the ultimate in independence and with prices to suit all budgets, EAC can arrange accommodation at one of the many hotels, guesthouses or bed and breakfasts in Edinburgh and Hastings. Hotels are available from 5-star international class to friendly family-run guesthouses. Prices and details are available on request, however students must pay the hotel directly. Credit card details are required in order to secure the booking, however full payment is paid directly to the hotel on arrival.
