Northampton is a bustling market town centrally located right in the heart of England. This 800 year old county town combines a rich heritage and distinguished history with all the energy and vigour of one of the fastest growing towns in the United Kingdom. Northampton's long history dates back to beyond the Iron Age. At one time Northampton rivalled London as the seat of government when royal parliaments and councils were held at Northampton Castle, the favourite residence of the Kings of England. Northampton is centrally located and within easy reach of popular tourist destinations like Cambridge, Oxford and London.
The EAC summer school takes place at the superb campus of University College Northampton. Facilities include high standard en-suite residential accommodation, well equipped classrooms and internet facilities, a modern refectory and students union disco, all of which are on site.
