English Tuition
The academic focus of the summer vacation courses at EAC is on developing communication skills, in particular speaking and listening. We aim to provide the students with the maximum opportunitiy to improve their language performance for social interaction and functional purposes. With these objectives in mind, EAC course materials reflect a student-centred interactive approach to learning with an emphasis on functional topics.
EAC believes that the academic course should be linked as far as possible to the activity programme and the local environs of the centre thereby making the course a more relevant and memorable experience for the students.
Lessons are 15 hours per week (20 lessons of 45 minutes each). Students will be tested on arrival and taught according to ability. Reports and certificates are issued at the end of each student’s stay.
