Rennie grew up near London, but has lived in Scotland for 17 years and loves it! Before training as a teacher, he worked in the theatre and travelled all over the world to work. Rennie finds teaching to be exciting in a similar way to working in the theatre, meeting people from many different countries and backgrounds. He believes that no class is ever the same as you meet people with all kinds of jobs or ambitions who are learning English for all kinds of different reasons. Rennie studied languages at university, so really likes learning them himself, Spanish being his latest challenge. His other favourite things are travelling, swimming and doing Tai Chi.
