EAC Adult Learning

The main focus of EAC's General English Courses is on communication skills and we aim to keep it as real-life as possible. We try to meet the needs of all individuals in the class and we also use a lot of authentic material in our English lessons, such as newspapers, DVDs, the Internet, books and other media, in addition to course books.

All classes have the same teacher for the main part of the day. This allows the teacher to really get to know you and to work with you on any weak areas of your English. You will have regular progress tests and reports as part of your English tuition, homework is given, and you will receive a certificate and detailed report at the end of the course.

Our General English Language Courses provide the opportunity to develop, revise and consolidate language in order to build your confidence in both receptive skills (listening / reading) and in producing spoken and written English.

Private Lessons

We also offer private English lessons in 45-minute sessions. These can be studied in addition to your General English course to help you with a particular area of study, which you feel would benefit from one-to-one tuition.

Private lessons are student-led, and your teacher will discuss with you the areas which you wish to study and improve upon as part of your private English tuition.
