Introduction

EAC have been providing quality out of school care since 1992. Originally providing after school care for only a few children, EAC now operate seven after school clubs, providing a wide range of activities for approximately 400 children. Despite the development of EAC's after school clubs, the emphasis is still firmly placed on providing a friendly, efficient service, which can be relied upon by all parents, guardians and most importantly, the children.

EAC's after school clubs provide a valuable service to the local community in which they operate and as such place a great deal of importance on building relationships with each family. Parents & guardians are welcomed by staff as they arrive to collect their children. This informal method of communication has proved effective in sharing information and building positive relationships.

Working closely with external agencies and clients, EAC are continually looking to improve the quality of service and maintain high standards of childcare.

Children are given ownership to their respective after school clubs. They will assist staff is conducting the daily register and distribution of snack. A suggestion box in regularly displayed at each club and the children are encouraged to use this facility, regarding any issues, which affects them while attending after school club. Regular communication also takes place between staff and children to benefit the club and ensure all users are happy.
