EAC Language Tuition: Dedicated To You
Happy to be substituting a grammar lesson for a Christmas party, our Edinburgh adult students poured into the common room at 11.30 full of festive cheer. The students enjoyed mince pies and mulled wine – but some wondered why there was no meat in the “mince” pies!
After lots of chat the music started and the students got ready to belt out their favourite Christmas songs. They had been practicing in class so the students were experts.
They all had a great sing song with some of the traditional favourites including Santa Claus is Coming to Town and Jingle Bells. The students then suggested each nationality sing a song which turned into a fierce competition.
Finally, the teachers were forced to sing a rendition of Do They Know it’s Christmas by the students, think they enjoyed seeing us put on the spot for once. Great time all round – Merry Christmas!
